Yes I'm definitely concerned about the older baby deciding to eat the tiny fry! That's a great idea about doing it water change - I can swap a few decorations around too at the same time which might also help with any territorial behaviour. Thanks!

Just an update, today we moved all of the decorations around so everything was completely different, and it seems to have done the trick. Everyone is getting along fine, no nipping or chasing, and the corys have stopped hiding! So I'm assuming it was a territorial thing and hopefully the peace...
Thank you, I did have a feeling it wasn't going to be an easy answer. Our water is quite hard (I can't remember the exact number). The corys now seem to be hiding most of the time - can't say I blame them - so I think we may have to rehome the barbs. Otherwise I can see us losing the corys...
