Do you think an undergravel filter would be beneficial?

My Nitrite is 0 Nitrate is 40 I cant test for ammonia clean every 2-3 weeks with 50/60% water change its a 61 litre ran with sponge filter I have rumynose/cardinal/neon/ember tetras with 5 sterbai Corydora and 3 barbs

other fish seem fine it’s getting really bad

I treated my tank yesterday with API PIMAFIX for fungal infection. Today my fish seem sluggish and dopey and my ember tetras are breathing quite rapidly and staying low on the substrate. this is 1/7 daily treatments is this normal ?

I cant test for ammonia but my nitrites are 0ppm Nitrates-0ppm pH-6.0

my results were: NO3-40ppm NO2-0ppm pH-6-6.5 KH-0ppm GH-30ppm I last cleaned and completed a water change 2 days ago (50%) Any feedback on how to improve water quality?

yeah i did and i have a big sponge filter that does that i cant get anything rlse what with lock down
