What is freecycle? How large a tank will I need to buy in the long run for the two goldfish? How much will this cost? What else do i need?

Unfortunately, I waited until after buying my 2 goldfish and their bowl before I read up on them, and now I see that I desperately need a tank. The pet shop lady claimed that the goldfish grew to the size of the bowl!

I am the owner of a small goldfish bowl, and I wish to decorate it, but I was wondering what would be thought as safe and unsafe. Wood? Plastic beads? String? Aluminium foil? Fabrics - silk, cotton, etc? Paper mache? Also, any other great-looking decoration ideas would be appreciated.
