Took the Bogwood out with the view to soak it and boil it over the next few weeks. Any tips on how i can give my tank more of a spark so to speak? Cheers

You can see the redness of the water due to the bogwood tannins which are annoying me. Ive posted questions on the Beginners section for advice to remove this and it would appear the best way is to take the wood out for several weeks and continue to soak it.(Which i had done for a week already)...

Ammonia = 0.0 mg Nitrite = 0.1 mg Nitrate= 12.5 mg Think they are ok readings. My main concern is the redness of the water from the bogwood tannins. Have a carbon pad in the filter but dispite that it still remains too red.
