Hi all. My tank has recently developed hideous copper brown stains all over the shop - especially on the gravel and the rocks I have in there. Can anyone say whether this is poisonous or dangerous for my fish, or how to get rid of it? Should I be worried?

Right. It's now arrived. 3 weeks into my fishless cycle (using CYCLE) and my LFS adviser has now said i'm ready for some hardy fish to go in - collecting tomorrow. 20 gallon tank (square) aquaone 510. I want hardy and easy to look after yet beautiful looking fish :good:

:lol: Well, we're cycling with "CYCLE" and "AQUA PLUS" additives. I know I know - some people don't like these, but we shall see if it works. As for the fish - I think I'll get very hardy fish to start with, and then buy a bigger tank before buying the big uns :)

Well the plan is to get a BIG tank - but I guess it depends on funds :) How long (months or years) would I get if I bought several of the "bigger" fish as babies before they outgrew the tank?

Hi all. My girlfriend and I are the proud new owners of an AquaOne 510 - 20 gallon tank. We're currently doing a fishless cycle and have been told to take a water sample in 10 days time and see if we can introduce some hardy fish. anywho... we have a rough idea of the fish we want. 5-6...
