hi all,
I have a 100 litre water tank of which empties automatically now and then..
I need the water to be at around 20 degrees
I tried a fluval heater and I kept getting the low flow problem so I bought another 300W heater with a plastic cage around it.
About an hour a go the water emptied...
Its for a non fish related system I am building where the tank will empty (water tank) and as doing so a float switch will turn the heater off..if the float switch were to fail I am wondering what the worse thing is that could happen i.e thermal cut out etc

Using a big air pump with 6 x splitters and the tubes going to the bottom of the containers would be a lot easier so technically the bubbles will displace the solution and mix then around...trouble is im not sure what effect that will have in real terms in relation to physically shaking the...
