You can do it daily until he shows any positive (or negative) reactions. Negative would be stress from catching him on both your and his part, lol .

Benefits and questions about building custom tanks

Depends on the supplies and size of tank you're building See answer above ... Local glass store/provider is the best source. It does take patience to design, assemble, waterproof... I would take a look at this YouTuber to get a nice idea, Aquarium Domain. His fish room is all custom and he...

Dwarf Red flame gourami isn't well help

Causes for bloat can be poor water quality, overfeeding or tumor. If the water parameters are good then when was the last time he ate? What size is the tank and what are the other inhabitants? I would still do a severe (60-80%) water change and not feed the tank anything but shelled peas...

Dwarf Red flame gourami isn't well help

Is it equally distended on both sides, or just the side shown? If just the one side it could be a tumor. If both sides it could be bloat. Have you checked water parameters?

Can I put a bristlenose in with a clown pleco?

So that's about 26 US gallons it's pretty small for both a bristlenose and a clown pleco. I agree with the above comments that you shouldn't be buying a fish to deal with algae issues. Irregardless the two plecos will be making too much waste for a tank that small and the one eats more plant...

Any unused (used or new) supplies like HOB, filter media, wood, rocks, lights, air pumps/tubing/stones...etc. Goes into plastic bins on the other side of...
