I am toying with shelling out for a pressurised co2 system. I have just over 2 watts per gallon of light. my plants live but don't grow and i also have a little hair algae. If I fertilise and have co2 will I really notice a difference in plant grow rate and will it help rid the hair algae?

Thany-you - got it working now! The difference in water clarity is amazing and everything and more than i'd hoped for - crystal clear with very,very little free floating particles. 100% reccommend this filter so far. All I need now is to get my Co2 system on order!
