Will a 25W heater be too much for a 2.5?

One is Maxximus and one is Ammara, both from Thailand. I can't wait to see them in person! Perhaps I shall just get two 2.5's?

Don't put them together unless you want a dead betta and babies. The male will constantly harass the female until they mate, and if they are kept together after this point, usually the male will kill the female.

Do java ferns need any special substrate, or do ya just make sure they are well buried and thats that?
