It multiplies fast - it is a huge pest in dams as it quickly covers the entire surface. In a fish tank I would say it is a bad choice - too bulky and blocks too much light

I took some photos, this is the best I got. Also, as an update, the red veins you see have vanished and I am treating the fish with sterazin from Water life. This is the ONLY internal wormer and parisite med I could get here... Thank you to all who have replied and supported me! I appreciate it...

My dad once said he would "help" out by feeding them for me. when I got back the ENTIRE surface of the tank was covered in about a half inch layer of flakes. It was a messy clean up... :(

I was told years back that the females have a slight(SLIGHT) bump on their forehead whareas the males dont. (or was it the other way around?) is this true? I kept Discus a few years back and i could see a difference in the foreheads of the fish when viewed in profile - the males have flatter...
