    Tropiquarium 68 Bottom? Polystyrene?

I wouldn't trust it to sit on the plastic skirt with the tank full - might be alright, I couldn't say. Wouldn't harm to put a bit of old carpet or polystyrene padding under the glass though. hth :ninja: Jon.

    Motorcycle

lol, I've thought about doing this myself! My LFS is halfway down a road locally known as 'The Snake' which is a blast to ride down - lovely smooth surface, gentle bends and long straights through open countryside! I've got a top box which I can fit to my bike and have wondered if I could...

    My Plecs - L001 And L083?

Yeah it's the 88. I've had it for about 5 years now. I've been toying with strengthening the base unit and getting a custom tank built using the same footprint dimensions but a little taller - taking it to about 28 inches maybe. That way I can transfer the existing hood onto it (with a little...

    My Plecs - L001 And L083?

It's a 130 litre Tropiquarium job. It was going to be a temporary move for the Gibby (which is tiny atm) until I get another larger tank set up elsewhere in the house- in a few months. The common gets a bit aggressive at feeding times which is putting me off the idea.

    My Plecs - L001 And L083?

Cheers for that. Would these be safe sharing the same tank do you reckon?

    My Plecs - L001 And L083?

Yeah, I've been there. I'm pretty certain of the L001, it's the second plec I really need help identifying. It was sold to me as a Sailfin, but I'm not sure the fin is pronounced enough.

    My Plecs - L001 And L083?

I'm trying to identify my plecs. I think ones a common and the other is a gibby. Would appreciate it if one of you more experienced plec owners could help me confirm what they are! L001? L083? Jon.

    Tropiquarium 68 Bottom? Polystyrene?

My Tropiquarium88 has four metal 'pegs' in the cabinet top which the tank sits on. The bottom of the tank inself has a plastic skirt which keeps them hidden from view and helps lock the tank into place. Jon.

How To Get New Water Into Tank At Waterchanges.

I've got a dedicated plastic 5 litre watering can with a top and side handle that I use. It has FISH ONLY written on it in marker pen so it doesn't get used for anything else but fresh water. It doesn't upset the plants or gravel. The fish love playing in the shower of water with the sprinkler...

    Moonlights

Hey Caroline, http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=131016 Here you go, there is a pic in that thread. Just used one LED bar that came with the set, the rest are 'accenting' the livingroom :D Jon.

    Hullo

Hey Ivor, Nope, they're heavy plastic items. Hand painted too I think. hth Jon.

    My Main Tank

Cheers, the two large ones to the right at the back are fake. I normally can't stand fake plants, but these are quite convincing! Jon.

    My Main Tank

Really? Damn. It is yellowing at the edge of the leaves. Thanks for the advice, I'll take it out! Here is a shot I just took of my moonlights - looks brighter in the pic than it does in reality (long exposure). Jon.

    Moonlights

The LEDs are inside a plastic bar and I've sealed the ends with silicone just in case. Seem to be okay for condensation - I wouldn't emerse them in water deliberately though. Fortunately my tank hood has a sealed section for the tubes so I've put one in there. Jon.
