Ive tried several photos etc, so small they dont even show up or dont look like anything other than a tiny smudge with no discernable features.

Doesnt really look like the hydra, they are very small and dont really have spindly arms, Its hard to draw what it looks like, all the strands i drew seem connected by thin film, thats why it kind of looks like egg sacks of some kind. Ill just keep watching them, see what happens.

Cant get pic, too small and too transparent. theres some tiny little dots inside them, look fairly evenly spaced. dozens of these tiny little things on my glass. I tried to draw what they look like as far as i can tell, however its pretty fail. forgot the pic.

When you all do water changes, do you use a thermometer to test the temp? or just use your finger for a "close enough" guess. Also is it ok to use water from your hot water tap to add? not sure if there could be issues with old hot water systems being made of copper or something.

Does adding water conditioner increase ph? I tested local tap water and it was neutral. then when I add the conditioner it jumps to 8 and over. Im doing a fishless cycle at the moment, because I use a very small 30L tank im worried that water changes might stress fish when I eventually have them.
