maybe he likes it next to your air pump and the tester just happens to be the nearest reusing place/seat try moving the tube and see what he dose?

i've got a 40 gallon tank at the moment and i was hoping for a pleco to eat the algae i wouldn't want this fish to grow too big and it would have to be good at cleaning my tank any suggestions are much appreciated

hi there, I've just gone into 4th year at my academy and in my craft class i am expected to design and make a project well I've chosen a fish tank, getting the materials is no problem but I'm at the designing stage and unsure of the size it would need to be and what kind of fish i could keep...

sorry i was thinking gallon but i typed litre its a 50 gal tank - does that open up more options?

ive got a 50 litre aquarium and i was hoping to get some or just one algae eater for it this fish will have to be a vegetarian as i breed guppies and not too teratorial i would like a fairly big fish but not something the size of a common pleco any suggestions/recomendations will be welcome :D

hes about 3.5 inches long and ive had him for nearly 3 years so i think hes fully grown

are you sure (its always realy calm and never even botheres with my other fish) but i have to say it does look a lot like the fish at the bottom of the page in your link - and i was contemplating buying another one ????

you could try a few dwarf/chain loaches - they are quite useful for picking off snails
