ok new to this site loooove plecs bought this one about a month ago he/she dunno how to tell is about 2.5" n basically i wanna know what type of plec it is it just said albino plec in the shop oh and another thing i was thinking of getting some more of the same and having a go at breeding...

Couldn't see little worms but only a small mag glass but none the less the gills dont look healthy^^^^

uk i'll have a look for such a kit 2morrow sadly the tiger barb didnt make it just checked the gills with some tweezers and they are deep red and slimey

thanks ok looks like its most probably that so lfs in the morning what med would suggest as the best to look for and how much does a decent test kit go for

they have all died with red gills they look as if they are bleeding and before the black shark died it went almost white and all the colour drained out off its fins same with this tiger barb

Trust me i've learnt from my mistakes.. hopefully within a month these fish if still alive will be re-homed into a considerably larger tank hopefully 3-4 footer.. but i figured learn how to run and maintain a small tank before getting a large one i figured bigger is the same problems 10 fold I...

yea small filter had an aeration fitting which was on and just turned air pump up for air stone

only 3 fish plec and a tiger unaffected and a sick tiger how much of the water should i change

I'm new to this Reason for unknown water quality is.. i dont have a test kit water was tested yesterday the guy at the shop said all was ok but not sure if he said it was nitrites or nitrates that were a little high, he did say the reason was most likely over feeding and to do a 1/4 water...
