I was just down at my lfs and they had one tank full of angelfish and two of them were laying their eggs and fertilising them on the back wall of the tank, occasionally they would leave the eggs one at a time to chase the other angels to the otherend of the tank. I have a neon which i have recently noticed is much bigger than my others about half an inch wide. is it pregnant? Is it sick? Any advice appreciated Thanks

My Albino Kribensis

I have them in a small tank with sponge filter and heater now.

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand, I do have other small tanks and a spare heater but I really don't want to have to set up another tank.

I have some swordtail fry which I have just taken out of my breeding trap and put them into a goldfish bowl with the same tank's water. The bowl has an airstone running but no heater. Is it ok to have no heater? Thanks

Thanks all for the advice. They would be In their own tank so temperature would not be an issue. I'm not sure if I will get them I might just stick a pair of kribs in that tank.

Hi, I am debating wether to buy a pair of German Blue Rams or Bolivian Rams. I would be hoping to breed them. Which are the easiest to breed and best to keep. I would probably prefer German Blue Ram because i looks better. Thanks

Thanks for the advice, I will do that, i am not 100% sure on the gender of a couple of them, I will leave my large male in a tank of it's own and i will put the other three together. Thanks again for the advice.

thanks for the advice- so I just put them together and wait? Not sure which tank I will put them in yet. But I will do a shuffle around so they will likely be in their own.

I have four kribs now but have not successfully bred any yet. Would it be better to try different combinations of pairs or put them all together and see what happens. All roughly similar size except for one large male. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
