Interesting info, thanks... I am very interested in keeping a Betta, I didn't know much about them until you mentioned it. After looking at the options this could be the way forward, I am going to do some digging on keeping one.

Here is my basic tank, it's really for my little girl, however I've become a bit hooked on it and my wife says I'm hogging it all. I've planted the plants in the gravel since taking this picture as I now realise you take them out the pots :(
