this frightens the life out of me, I am using and elite mini submersible 25w heater in my 25 litre tank !!! Should I get a new one, maybe a visi-therm? What heaters do you recommend, elites obviously seem bad, I have seen a few reports of this now with them. Its so scary!!

Best tip I got was to put one cube in a freezer bag and bang it with a spoon so it breaks up. Scoop out the tiny bit you need and it will defrost in a minute or two. I keep a spoon especially for the fish and it defrosts on there in a few mins.....then I feed my minnows with tweezers, they...
