bettas need to be at least 78 not 70 , that low temp and they are gonna get sick n be sluggish....

small tank? yea, yea, u might wanna read up a bit... a 20 gal minimun can be used to start, but personaly three 20's for grow out is my preference, and thats only if you only have 60 or less fry.....yarr. much reading

if u go to the top of the section under feq asked questions it underlines it... over all, a ton of, money time, tanks, waterchanges and troble!!! lol its very hard also very rewarding! but the set up takes alot at least a 20 gal grow out 3 20's is my preference and jars, / jugs for all the fry...

wow! ive never seen an imbellius that bright! ususaly the ones i see are brown with a hint of green!

just to be sure, fugos fins seem to be niped quiet a bit, but the tail seems long, keep a close eye on {her} inc ase shes a he with knawed off fins, happens sometimes.

min 10 gal. but they would be happier with bigger, the larger and more planted the tank is the better,, so the littlest ones have lots of room to hid and they just dont turn tail then run into another female!!

new fishey got me some octologist catfish for one of mu tanks!!, i think thier so cute!! not betta cute but still.

get hiom toa bigger tank even if its not cycled cause the water states in the krintter keeper go bad much faster thatn a bigger tank,,, and make sure he has a heater sized for the tank... bettas need to be 78 to 80 and if hes yoo cold he could be lazy looking

if I had the money I would buy black sand flourite. however that stuff is super expensive and very well washed play sand works perfectly fine.
