Recently moved down to Texas from Michigan, where I work at Ihop as a cook.
I purchased a 10 gallon aquarium kit from Petsmart (Topfin) around April 16th 2019 because I had just discovered something about my home town in Michigan. The lake there has naturally occurring Marimo moss balls and I found out that this is rare, and they only grow in a few select northern lakes. So I wanted to get one to remind me of home. However my Girlfriend was not happy with a small tank with one or two fish and talked me into something bigger. So I ended up getting a 10g aquarium, with a bunch of fish and plants.
My moss ball is happy, very green, and now the whole tank reminds me of home of back when my grandfather had an aquarium. Back when the only option for filtration was an under gravel filter.
