i will definitely not be trying to re-add the gt, i'll just house him alone. thanks for your help everyone, much apreciated.

my tank size is 250 litres. i think you're right nelly, they just won't get along. i just added the gt about a half hour ago to see what would happen and everything went haywire, i had to just take him straight out.. i think i'm gonna end up housing him alone.. he's too beautiful to compromise.
