Neon tetra with growth on mouth

I've had the fish for 4 months. I noticed the lump a few days ago and though it was a snail at first. The little monkey wouldn't keep still for me to see. Nothing has been added to the tank for over a month. The only change is my mollie had babies

Neon tetra with growth on mouth

Hey guys, My neon has a lump on its mouth. It doesn't look like cotton mouth. Its blue ish in colour and looks smooth. He's still chasing other fish and eating. I'm just worried it's going to get too big and cover his mouth or be something more sinister. Is it just a growth? And any advice for...

    Neon tetra looking rough

Hi colin and thank you. I've just tested my water and the nitrate is sky high! I've been changing water once a week at 30% and cleaning the gravel while changing it. It's a 3ft tank. Neon tetra looking rough

Hi guys. I've had my tank for 4 or 5 months now and had 6 neon tetras, 4 pearl gourami, 2 BN Plecos and some mollies. All seem to be fine together but one of my tetras is looking very haggard. Its fins look tatty and scales seem patchy or white. I've tried googling but get every disease going...

    Too much porfito

Hi, sorry I'm new here. The opened bottle of porfito was knocked over and a good few gulp went into my 22 gallon tank. I've done a 50% change but not sure if I need to do a bigger change or how harmful it is to my fish. Thanks
