So happy I found this discussion. Even if it's really old. Anyway, my neon's have the same problem. Will bettafix cure them or will I have to get another medicine?

I squeezed the filter floss in the new tank, to add beneficial bacteria, but the stuff that came out was white! Is this normal? When I put it back into the original filter, it started pumping out white stuff for a bit (5 seconds). Now both tanks are cloudy! When will the tanks clear? I thought...
