That's also a lot of guppies for a 25g. I would only put about 15-17 adult guppies in a tank that size.

    Mollies

Hello! What size is your tank? What temperature is your tank at? IMO, I would not keep mollies and tiger barbs together. Also, tiger barbs are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 6+. Hope this helped you out a bit, good luck!

    Help! Sudden clamped fins!

Hi! I would try to keep the temperature at 78F, and have it constant, not in a range like 75-80. I feed my bettas twice a day, 2-3 pellets in the morning, 2-3 at night. Make sure his diet has a lot of variety. You can feed him brine shrimp, blood worms, cucumber, as well as the pellets. Good...

Concerned about my betta resting on the bottom

Hello! I think your betta is not doing too well because of the high ammonia levels in your tank from the uneaten food, and that he was overfed. What size is your tank? Do you have a filter and heater? The same thing actually happened to me as well. When I went on vacation I had a friend feed...

Cycle Has Not Completed In 3 Months, Please Help

What filter do you have? Maybe you could try letting the tank run for a little bit without adding any products so the ammonia can convert into nitrite, then nitrate.

    Diatoms control

What's the stocking for your tank and what size? If it is at least 20 gallons you could get a school of otocinclus. I also looked at some reviews for both products and both seemed to work for people. I would get the Seachem PhosGuard, though.

    Betta Fish + Algae

2.5 gallons is a little small for both the snail and betta. Mystery snails can get kind of big. Were you considering a mystery or nerite snail? My nerite snails always climb out of the tank, I don't know if all nerite snails do this. My mystery snails stays in the tank, though, with no lid. You...

    Question!

Algae can be a sign of a healthy aquarium. I'd say that the amount you have is safe.

Fishless cycling: Can my betta fish stay in good health until the new tank is ready?

Hello! Not an expert, but your betta should be fine. S/he might get fin rot. 2.5 gallon is the bare minimum for a betta, so you could keep your betta in that tank. Although I definitely think that the bigger the tank the better. Good luck!

    Stocking question

I've never used sponge filters before, but it looks like your filtration should be fine!

    Stocking question

Hi! Well, you generally need a filter that is 10 times the tank size for the gph. The Fluval C3 filters 153 gallons per hour, and you would need 230-290, so it's not exactly going to be sufficient, but you might be able to get away with it if you keep up with your water changes. Ps: I'm not an...
