We used BioSpira to cycle our 75 gal and it worked great! I highly recommend it.

Don't know if you can get it in the UK, but we used a product called Bio-Spira to cycle our 75 gal and it worked brilliantly... It's abit expensive, but well worth it...

What are your water parameters? Specifically nitrates? G

Try a 75 gal and 30 gal in the living room, 2x 5.5 gal divided in the kitchen, and 3x 2 gal in my classroom... And if I had more room, you can bet there'd be more! :wub: And SarahBravo, there is NO cure... :P

Generally if she has a pink distended belly the coloration will grow more intense to almost orange in color (sign that spawning will occur within a couple of days or so). When she is really close to spawning her ovipositor will drop within several hours of the actual event. FYI, Rams rate poor...
