Came in late from the pub last night and looked in the aquarium - lights were off. There, floating at the surface, was a dead kuhli loach. It was bent like a banana. I was a tad upset as I've had it for years. This morning it is grubbing around at the bottom as if nothing had happened...

I paid £69.95 at charterhouse aquatics, with free postage. So not a bad deal i think. Should arrive Monday. Not sure I can prove date of purchase, or that I have any warranty type documents still. I might write to Eheim though - I thought they were the Audi of filters, but seem more Datsun ;)

hi, my 2 year old eheim professional II has just blown its motor - it's now laying outside steaming. Not amused as these things should run for years. So, can I replace the head part, or should I jump ship to another brand and start over? Tank is 400l and still has a smaller, older(!) eheim...
