you can tell by the size of your betta, too. a fully mature betta is pretty big! minus all his fins, his body is about 2.5 to 3 inches big.... at about 2 inches i'd say he's about a year and a 1/2 old... also, how long hav u had ur betta? a petstore betta is usually between 3 to 6 months old...
