It doesn’t really look like a bruise as it looks like some kind of black fungus thing is growing out through the scales

She isn’t feeding properly and is spending all her time behind the filter kind of sitting leaning sideways on a plant leaf. Not sure about her poop. I only put in the medicine as my original thought was that it was some kind of fungus... I’m not sure if I will be able to get better photos as her...

From the photos I can see online that looks more like it, I will change the water now

I have retested the water and I think the nitrate levels online might be slightly too high, I will carry out a water change now.

Since I last checked on her she seems to have regained some of her colour but is still hiding behind the filter. I'm sorry about the awful photo I will try and get a clearer one but hopefully you can see the black growth on her.
