My fish now looks fatter than everher sides look like they are about to split open and her bottom area is very pink. Do you think she will spawn soon?

I have two, how long do they spawn for? will I be able to see the spawn. My son bought the tank two years ago with his birthday money now the whole family have got the bug. This is my best fish, We call him Bubba, his lovely!
