Apologies for not relpying earlier, been a busy sunday. I live in Royston, just up the A10 from yourself. Very happy to travel down. The tank is fully cycled and has been up and running for some 6 years and no loss in the last 2 years.

When I am setting up a new tank I use AmQuel plus made by Kordon, it is not a medication. It removes nitrate, nitrite and improtantly ammonia. This works really well. I always increase aeration levels for around 24 hours afterwards. This will help to settle the tank for awhile. However it will...
