Thanks for the info! I will take your tips on board when i purchase them. I know it takes a long time in transporting fish, but I thought taking them onto a train and going home would be hazardous due to vibrations etc. I'l try to take extra care to not move them around. Thanks for the info...

Just wondering, what are the dimensions of the tank? Endlers would be a good choice as they stay very small and are very colourful. Some brands do small filters for tanks that size too. Good luck

If you do a complete water change every 2-3 days, you should be fine without a filter. A lot of people keep bettas without a filter or heater. You will need to constantly feed them live food though.
