Yeah, we are planning on getting a bigger tank soon, we just moved so I am waiting til everything is settled. Right now we have 4 of each and that’s it, bc I didn’t want to overcrowd the tank! I have had them since May and they have been happy and not nippy, this is sudden, but I was also on...

    Fin rot!?

Hello! I must go in the morning to get treatment for my aquarium, I’m pretty sure all of my fish have fin rot! I was away on vacation and came back and noticed white lines on their fins and now they are ripping off a little, 8 fish in a 15 gallon, just did partial water change as well. What is...

    Help!

Oh thank you! Is it unusual to have very hard water but low kh and ph? I mean I guess my fish are used to it! But I just want the ph stabilized a little more. I ordered an alkaline buffer... just trying to learn as I go.

    Help!

Good news and bad news, all of my Fish made it, except one, one of my cory catfish died from the move this morning, sad day :( I guess it was too much stress. The rest of the fish seem great, their color is back, and they are swimming around like normal and eating

Unfortunately we are Moving today (a short distance) so...

    Help!

Yes, the gh is “very hard” but the kh is “low” and the ph is low, like super low, at about 5.6. It used to be 7-7.5... and I know kh is a buffer for the ph, but with it being low, I feel like it’s not able To do it’s job of maintaining stable levels and sorry, I have the test strips currently...

    Help!

Thank you, yeah I have a bottle of the bacteria stuff I can add, so I’ll do that and water change, but what about raising ph? Is there a safe effective way to do that? It’s literally acidic like at 5.8 and im worried it’s too low

    Help!

Honestly, I haven’t really taken the filter off yet to clean, I’ve only had the tank set up with the fish since May, I replaced the cartridge about 1 week ago, other than that I just wipe the glass and surfaces of the filter with the fiber cloth rag I have. When I clean the objects inside The...
