I have a mature male Green Serverum (had a pair but the female died) and can’t seem to keep any plants in the tank for any length of time until he’s ripped them to pieces. He’s well fed but just destroys any plants I put in. Any ideas on plant variety’s or ideas to stop him? 😄 Cheers.

All levels are fine. I’m just talking surface algae cleaning, not covering the glass just patches. Only want recommendations on methods for that really.

I have a pretty large glass bowl aquarium prob 15 gallons. Struggling to find an algae cleaning method other than getting my hand in which is fine but would rather find a stick type (take it magnets out of the question) that will clean the contours of the bowl. Any ideas? Thanks

It’s a 4ft freshwater tropical setup. Jewel Rio so double tubes, not 100% on exact tubes they use as I’m yet to replace. 6 x Otocinclus, Bulldog Plec in terms of algae eaters plus 25 other ‘small’ fish and a Hoplo Catfish, not more than an inch. Lights on say 9am till 10pm ish.
