I will take a pic soon but I can describe what it looks like. My male betta fish has a see through edge on his fins. Also on the bottom fin it is see through looking in the middle like celephame like his color is falling out in that spot. Ugh is this fin rot?

I just did a water change and while my betta was in the holding tank he seemed fine. Well I get back from my friend's house like 9 hours later and now he is a dulled color. Is he missing his tank? Is this normal?
