If you have hard water or can get it the African butterfly cichlid is a great choice for a group of cichlid’s.

If you want a hardy South American cichlid for a centerpiece and have the right water then how about an electric blue Acara or a group of keyhole cichlids.

It could be another source. It could also be the filter media that might need a good rinse.

I want to get an Acara. Just not an electric blue or true blue Acara.
