Need Help Treating For White Spot

I need some help treating my fish for whitespot. I have a small tank(10 gallons) and I use a top power filter that utilizes the pad with the carbon granules built in. I know when I treat there can't be any carbon in the filter but I have no way of removing it, so what should I use as filtration...

Need Help Treating For White Spot

I need to treat my fish for white spot but unfortunately my filter uses the pads with the built in carbon granules in it. I already have increased the temperature to 84 and have lowered the water level to increase splash for more dissolved oxygen in the water. What should I do for filtration as...

I only have one aquarium so should I just buy a sponge filter and use that in the place of the carbon containing pad while I'm treating?

    Possible Ich! Help!

Also I've raised the water temperature a bit more, it is at about 84 degrees now and i can see about 3/4 inch of air below the plastic lining/thing at the top of the aquarium that the hood rests on to increase the amount of oxygen in the water.

    Possible Ich! Help!

So I think two of my fish have ich...The two creamsicle mollies in there appear to have ich. I am fairly new to aquariums and don't know what to do. I would really appreciate some help. I did a water change about a week ago and tested the chemical levels a few days ago and they seem to be...

Rookie With Dying Fish. Need Some Help Here.

I did 2 50% changes yesterday and a 75% change today. I plan to keep those up on a daily basis until the ammonia and nitrite levels subside and stay that way. And I have definitely been dechlorinating the water and turning off the filter and heater during changes. Thanks guys!

Rookie With Dying Fish. Need Some Help Here.

OK, I did a 75% last night and a 50% this morning. I'm siphoning through the gravel as best I can while doing them without trying to harm the fry. The fish have started to perk up, I'll go and check my LFS later today to see if they have a good reagent test kit. Any suggestions on some that are...

OK so I went and got some test strips(it was the best I could do on short notice. This is before the water change. I'll do another one tomorrow after the water change tonight. Nitrate - roughly 40 ppm Nitrite - over 100 ppm Hardness(GH) - roughly 300 ppm/very hard Alkalinity(KH) - roughly...

Thank you so much to everyone for their help. I just got home from work so I'll run out and grab a test kit ASAP. Waterdrop/PaBucsFan - could I get some more info on that gravel siphon and return water instructions? And I do have some water conditioner that treats both chlorine and chloramine...
