I've got a bad problem witha green algae covering all my rocks in my tank. I've recently set it up and after adding fish last week there is now green algae coverong my tuffa rocks. It looks horrid as my rocks are white. I've cleaned them with a stiff brush but i want to know how i can stop it...

what do people think of the holiday fish food feeding blocks....i put one in once about an hour before a set off on my hol last year......to catch my plec finishing it off.....it was meant to last a week

also, while i'm thinkin, ox5477 you mention changing the lighting. i know its all personal preferance but what do people suggest. will be for a cichlid set up with no plants. i've seen a few set ups that seem to have a bluish tinge to the lighting...is it moonlight lighting its called. looks...

cool thanks kim...how hard is it to get the juwel filter out...and once its out can it go back in easily? do i need to take it out to use an external filter (only ever used UG filters before)? thanks Andy
