Thanks :good: i think i'll wait to see whether her belly does get any bigger. I'd try the other method but i would hate the idea of stressing the fish, especially with the chance of it being pregnant. I do like the idea though lol :D

I was told, when buying my fish, that the black female platy was pregnant. I'm sure the pet store worker was right but i can't seem to see a gravid spot it on the BLACK body...is there another way of knowing for definite?? sooner rather than later... :unsure: thanks

hey, my names Aaron and I'm turning 18 tomorrow! I've only recently bought the fluval edge tank (23l or 6G) and i've put a couple of platies in it. It's pretty funky although im not too sure whether or not i can put any more fish in the tank because according to some things I've read two platies...

I've just bought a fluval edge (23l) and added two platys. I need to know whether this is enough for a small tank or whether i can add more? I wouldn't really consider adding more but the dude at the shop said i could but i wasn't toooo sure and thought it'd best to ask people who have more...
