can i use a wooden layer between the aquarium and the stand ? like extend the tank width ?? is it qonna work ?? i mean be safe ??

uma keep him in this tank for now ..till i can get the 500 gallon ..or construct a plywood tank for a pond ...he wont have a problem for a year or so ...and if he was unhappy before i can get the other tank ..uma donate him..but hopefully uma get him 8 to 10 feet with enough room to hunt ..and...

and a gaint snakehead outgrows an arowana ..growth rate is similar to rtc

but fish grow to a certian age rather fast then the growth rate is decreased or slowed down once the fish is mature..do u know what i mean ?? i think a snakehead slows down around 5o cm ... i got no room for a 500 gallon aquarium now ..but um moving to a new home within a year and this...

i can make it 150x50x40 but the stand is 160x40 is it safe to have 5 cm gap in the front and back ?

500 gallon with a 100 gallon sump ..but after one year ..people please tell me if the width is qonna be okay ? if the lenth of the fish is greater than the width ..is it alright ??

hello everyone .. i need to build an aquarium to last my snakehead for a year ...its 4 inches now..in a 20 G long i need to build larger aquarium i was thinking 63 in (length) x 16 in (width) x 18 in (height) is it good ..or two norrow?? sadly ..this is the dimentions of my aquarium stand 63x16...

put the divider a lil bit up... add some think plants on both side of the divider so they wont see each other and be stressed all the time keep a good water quality help going back the torn fins remember they are called fighting fish for a reason .. good luck mate

i suspect the filter,tap water,canopy, uma do a full clean up with boiling water ..any safe chemical i can use ?? i ve been keeping filtered tap water for the chlorine to evaporate and uma wash the glass aquarium with salt and water again boil the filter media for 30 mins..change the sponges...

i breed some cichlids ..and i buy small snakeheads,rtcs,gars etc and grow them and sell them later i have 1 300 gallon tank -2 500 gallon tanks and some feeder tanks but i never had this sulphur smelling problem.. i feel like fish serial killer

for other tanks and other filter ...i never wash the bio media ...just change the mechanical media for the ammonia issues if i jus change 70% of the water still smells sulphur its a strong smell ..i cant miss it ..rotten egg smell and this white coat all over my fish dead ones ..thats how um...

this for the filter i separate all the media ..and put and soak them in a boiling water with salt in it and wash the container with new sponge and salty hot water .. put boiling water through the in and out tubes for a lil as for the tank also hot water and salt

i do 50 to 70% daily ...cuz i dont want to lose the snakehead .. i kno its not an ammonia spike there is some mean bacteria or fungus something like that ... when fish die ..there is this slime coat ..of white something .. i separate all the media ..and put and soak them in a boiling water...

guys thanks for replying .. um qonna try to get a testing kit ..u know its not easy having one here in egypt ..its rare ..like so rare what about this annoying sulphur smell..i google it ...it says hydrogen sulphate or something ...pockets of gas trapped in the gravel ..!! well i dont have...
