I just treated my betta for fin-rot last week. I did salt baths 3 x a day for 3 days (1/2 tsp salt in a cup of water taken from the fish bowl) and it cured him. This was a relatively slow moving infection, he didn't end up loosing too much of his fin. He's all betta now :P
