Thanks for the advice; I didn't realise brine shrimp could be a risk. Think I'll order some micro worms promptly-hopefully the fry can hang on until then! They do seem to be nibbling on the wood and plants, so are clearly feeding on something in the tank.

I just noticed that my blue acaras (well actually they were sold as blues but may be Green Terrors as they have orange tail fins and were v. aggresive to thier previous tank mates) have hatched hundreds of fry. They are in their own tank and don't seem to be eating any fry- but what can I feed...
