Hi,

I have a lovely Zoa that has been doing well. There is one "bud" that has not opened for over a week & has algae on it now. Is there anything I can do for it, or is it OK?

Thanks

Try and tease the algae away with plastic tweezers and pump excess gunge away with a baster, syringe,etc...had to do this often during bryopsis algae outbreak in my tank...have you added any red leg or blue leg hermits to graze on this yet???

Added 3 small blue legs today. Sohopefully that will help. willgo find a nice syring. Thanks buddyboy., PS just fed ric :hyper:

I have also had to do the same during my red cyano and bryopsis outbreaks.

Persevere (that spelling does not look reet) with the methods buddyboy said, its waht I had to do.

Cheers Gary, blue legs will help but getting a baster is a good toy,lol..use for spot feeding, blowing down rock occasionally for detritus pockets, spot squirt cleaning, sucking up small greeblies,lol....
