Zion the hunter

I am so sad right now.
My Zion brought home a starling last night. It was still alive this morning but refused to fly when I tried to release him.
I brought him to work with me and when I opened the box to show my boss he was dead.
That's the tough thing about cats. You can't get mad at them for going with their instincts. I am just sad I couldn't help the birdie.

No matter how hard you try and tame cats they will always have that wild streak..Thank God my cats are to lazy to hunt for anything besides the food in there dishes.

I came home one day to find my cat playing with a mouse and so I shooed the cat away and the mouse ran and my german shepherd, gunner, cornered it and bit it's head off.... that was a fun day....

my 18 year old cat used to leave me a pile of mouse livers whenever i would go on vacation, one liver for each mouse and it was quite a pile
