I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this, or not. I have SEVERAL zebra nerites, I think they are cute, and love how they clean up any algae issues I have without killing my plant. Not to mention they dont nom on my plants!
Anyhow, One thing I've noticed, is nearly all the ones I've ever gotten have started developing thicker dark bands, then what they had previously. There is definite shell growth thats strong to the touch. But, im unsure if this is something due to the enviroment they are in or what. I dont think its a bad thing, but just on the off chance it is, what can i do to fix it?
