Will my Betta eat the small snails in my tank. Only about 1mm (goldy brown in colour). I've been getting them out, but if he likes them......

dunno but let me know if he does I got millions in my big tropical tank they keep blocking the filter up with their shells!!! I used to have a figure of 8 puffer he loved them you could hear him scrunching.

I read of people feeding their bettas snails in the past. If you search for it, there's a thread where a betta actually snatched a snail from a pair of tweezers, shook the shell off, and then ate it. Another person crushed the snail and the betta ate the smooshed bits. I never tried it myself, so I couldn't get more detailed than my 3rd hand account.

Some of my guys eat the inners of the snail and just leave the out shell for decoration
