you know the media baskets on the penguin 330.....

my mom just got a 46g, and she has a penguin 330 bio-wheel. they have baskets for added media behind the carterages, would I be able to put a penguin mini carterage from and Established tank in the basket to hurry cycling?

If it will fit, that would be a great idea. Don't they have a series of grids inside, though, so you can layer your media? Might be hard to get to get the mini cartridge in there, if I am thinking of the right one. You could, however, empty the contents of the mini-cartridge into the basket, that would be achieving the same goal, just a bit more work to it.

Yep, the whole key as already mentioned is whether or not it will fit. Even if it fits without the plastic basket would be ok.
