Yep Its Another Skimmer Question

Ive narrowed my choice down to 2 skimmers

by the sounds of it it goes inside the tank

hang on skimmer, i like the sound of the mce 300 that ski recommended but with it being new they are still quite expensive. this one has a chamber for placing carbon is carbon necessary taking into account i have no filter?

which one should i get? does anyone use these skimmers? all feedback appreciated! thanx y'all!

I use the mc300 on my rio 180 and its the nuts I also run an external which is why i didnt get the 600 plus I thik its to big get the mc300 mate I got mine for £125
