i think i may have lost one..i had 2 but found an empty shell casing today on a w/c...maybe it shed? time will tell i spose.

The empty shell will most probably be from the shrimp shedding. Have you got a lid on the tank? I came downstairs one morning to find a dead shrivelled up Amano/Yamato on the kitchen floor about 2 metres away from the tank where it had made a bid for freedom, they are quite well known for it especially if water conditions are not tip top or they feel threatened.

yes indeed it shed. I found 2 shrimp the next eve. very bizarre! i have a condensation tray on the top, they have coloured up nice now.
