I get why giant home aquarium owners keep the tanks bare. You can't risk a big fish getting hurt on rough rocks or jagged wood. Its also near impossible to catch them if you have big heavy decorations to catch the net on. But!
The look is so boring and unnatural. At least fake tree roots and branches or tree trunk would really help..smooth to the touch as in public aquaria.
