If they are both swords - yep. Color dosen't seem to bother any of mine and I end up with several dif colors to each batch.

They should procreate.

What size tank are they in?
If those are the only swordtails in there, you migth want to add another female to lower aggression.

The fry you get will be somewhat muddled, though if you breed the offspring and their offspring and so on, you'll be abel to notice a pattern in their markings and you could even breed fish with new fin shapes and colors.

yah color dont matter at all its jsut the species but make sure that its a female and a male u have in tank and they should be fine but i recomend u but a net breeder if u havent already for when the female has her fry u cant swoop them up and out in the net breeder
