I have a 65g hex (aprox. 28in tall, 24 wide, 20 deep) that is not in use and I haven't been able to figure out what to do with it. My husband on the other hand, has taken an interest in Killifish. Would this tank work with killifish, as it is tall and not wide? If so, what species would be good?

I keep golden wonder killifish in a tank slightly smaller than that and they are fine, I only have two but could easily add more. If you don't think golden wonder killifish are great than I would say get some lampeye killifish or clown killifish which are about half the size. Then again I have trained my golden wonder killifish to come and eat out of my hand while niether lampeyes or clowns will do this.

Dark substrate....planted and a pair of Fundulopanchax gardneri......
keep tank tightly covered...use surface plants

Wow this is an old thread lol. I sold that tank :p Thank you for the replies, it gives me ideas for my 40g hex when I re-arrange things.
